a beautiful walk

My grandmother and a curious puppy.
I went for a walk.

Everything I see on the street.
sniffing and sniffing
I’m trying to remember.

just past a gas station
The dog stopped and tried not to go.

 

No matter how much my grandmother asks me to go,
He sniffs and insists that he won’t go.

My grandmother crouched down and stared at the puppy.

I don’t know if my curiosity was satisfied after a long time.
I’ll jump at my grandmother.

 

My grandmother embraces that kind of dog.
I’ll pet you.

My grandmother and my dog continue on that path.

할머니와 호기심 많은 강아지가
산책길에 나섰습니다.

길거리에서 보는 것 마다
킁킁거리며 냄새를 맡고
기억하려고 애를 씁니다.

한 주유소 앞을 지날 무렵
강아지가 멈춰서 가지 않으려고 하네요.

 

할머니가 아무리 가자고 해도
킁킁 냄새를 맡으며 안가겠다고 버팁니다.

할머니도 쭈그리고 앉아 강아지를 물끄러미 바라봅니다.

한참이 지나서야 호기심이 풀렸는지
할머니에게 달려듭니다.

 

그런 강아지를 할머니는 품어주고
쓰다듬어 줍니다.

할머니와 강아지는 그렇게 가던 길을 이어갑니다.
