차를 몰고 집으로 가던 한 여성이 있었다.

그런데 트럭 한 대가 그녀의 차를 바짝 따라왔다.
여성은 거리를 좀 넓힐 생각으로 속력을 높였다.
그러자 트럭도 함께 속도를 높이기 시작했다.

그녀가 빨리 달릴수록 트럭도 자꾸 뒤를 쫓아왔다.
두려워 미칠 지경이 된 여성은
주유소에 차를 세우고 외쳤다.

“도와주세요!”

그런데 그녀는 뒤를 돌아봤을 때…

트럭에서 내린 운전사가 그녀의 차 뒷좌석 문을 벌컥 열고
한 남자의 멱살을 잡고 일으켜 세우더니
땅바닥에 내동댕이치는 게 아닌가!

뒷좌석에 한 남자가 숨어있었던 것.

알고 보니 그 남자는 성폭행 전과자로 밝혀졌다.
트럭 운전사는 혼자 돌아가는 그녀를 노리고
틈을 엿봐 뒷좌석에 숨는 의문의 남자를 발견,
구해줘야겠다는 생각에
그토록 열심히 그녀의 뒤를 쫓은 것이었다.
