제3세계 가난한 사람들이 짐을 실어 나르는 모습입니다.
우리나라에서는 안전을 무시하고
이렇게 과적하는 것은 상상도 할 수 없는 일입니다.

하지만 이들에게는 안전보다 생계의 절실함이 먼저입니다.
더 많은 물건을 팔기위해
까마득히 먼 시골에서 싣고 오거나
짐을 옮겨 주는 대가를 받기 위해
자전거, 나귀가 끄는 수레, 세발 오토바이에..
물건을 가득 실은 사람들..

마치 물리학의 법칙을 벗어난 듯
기묘한 사진들입니다.

이들이 이토록
고된 노동을 마치고
손에 쥐어지는 돈은 너무 적습니다.
그 적은 돈이 이들이 짊어진 가족의 버팀목입니다.

그러다 가족이 아프기라도 하면
이들의 어깨를 누르는 무게는 더욱 커집니다.
아무리 짐을 나르고 날라도
치료비라는 고갯길은 가파르기만 합니다.

In Korea, we ignore safety.
It’s unimaginable to overload like this.

But for them, the urgency of living comes before safety.
in order to sell more things
or bring it from a faraway countryside,
in order to receive the price of moving one’s luggage
Bicycles, carts pulled by donkeys, tricycle…
People who are full of things…

as if out of the laws of physics
These are strange pictures.

They’re so…
after hard work
The money I have in my hand is too little.
That small amount of money is the support of their families.

If your family gets sick,
The weight of pressing them against the shoulders increases.
No matter how much you carry your luggage,
The path of medical expenses is steep.
